The Classic is my warmest tenor mouthpiece, and the Celebration is its bigger, broader, more powerful warm brother.

The Celebration was created for players who love the warmth, richness, and beauty of the great vintage hr Otto Link mouthpieces but want far more consistency, versatility, projection, and power than those vintage pieces can provide.

I often refer to the Celebration as the “Reso and Slant Slayer.”

This is not another copy of a vintage Link. It is a completely original design inspired by the qualities players love in those legendary mouthpieces while taking the concept dramatically further.

In many ways, I believe this is where Otto Link himself might have gone if he were designing mouthpieces for today’s players.

The sound is huge, warm, rich, and remarkably even from top to bottom. It has the roundness and beauty of the great vintage pieces but with a larger sound, more projection, greater consistency, and a wider tonal palette.

The palm keys are exceptionally fat and resonant. The low register is powerful and effortless. The entire range of the horn feels smooth, connected, and balanced.

Most importantly, the Celebration never loses its warmth.

It produces a big, open, rich tenor sound that can fill a room while still maintaining the complexity and beauty that serious players demand.

Compared to The Classic, the Celebration offers a larger overall sound, more openness, more fatness, and greater power while retaining the warmth and musicality that define my Category 1 mouthpieces.
