2021 RETURN/TRIAL POLICY:
10MFAN Hard Rubber Mouthpiece Trial/Return Policy:
This applies only to my hard rubber 10MFAN mouthpieces purchased in the United States directly from me through my website at the regular price. ($385 for soprano, $390 for alto, and $395 for tenor). I DO NOT offer any trials or refunds for my mouthpieces purchased from anyone else inside or outside the United States. I have dealers outside the United States, and I encourage my buyers outside the U.S. to go through those dealers, and abide by their own company policies.
How The Trial/Return Policy Works: Order and pay for one mouthpiece through my website at the regular price. Enjoy play testing it, and you MUST use a rubber tooth patch or a piece of masking tape on the beak. Use the mouthpiece up to 5 full days from the day of delivery. Have reeds and ligatures on hand to be able to put the mouthpiece through its paces with those different set-ups….because reeds are everything! Be ultra-careful with your ligatures not to get any scratches on the mouthpiece. Let me know within those 5 days if you intend to return it. If you return it, there is a $40 trial fee. (Thats about a 10% trial fee….. (If you want the opportunity to try the finest original design hard rubber mouthpieces in the marketplace, thats the price of admission). If you try the mouthpiece and decide to keep it, you will NOT be charged ANY trial fee. If you are going to return the mouthpiece, do not wash the mouthpiece. I will wash it and sanitize it here…thank you.
If the returned box is postmarked within those 5 days, you will get the price you paid for the mouthpiece minus the trial fee and the original shipping. In other words, if you paid $395 plus shipping for a tenor mouthpiece, you will be sent $355 back. (As long as there are no issues with the returned mouthpiece). If the mouthpiece is returned in anything but new condition, with any ligature marks or tooth marks on it, etc…. where I would need to send it back to my refacer to have him fix that, the buyer will be responsible for all those fees including the cost of the shipping fees back-and-forth to my refacer. In other words, just be careful on your end, and treat the mouthpiece kindly. 🙂 I will not accept returns on the mouthpiece if the return box is postmarked OUTSIDE of those 5 days. If you send me the box anyway, you will be responsible to send me the shipping money to have the box sent right back to you. Be considerate, and follow my policies….thank you.
When My Trial/Return Policy DOES NOT Apply: There are NO trials or returns on any mouthpieces bought from me at a lower price during any of my “internet sales” that I offer sporadically around the internet, usually done at some of the holidays. These are special sales where you have to contact me directly and buy OUTSIDE of my website at a discounted price. They are offered at a nice discount, so if you aren’t happy with the mouthpiece bought at a sale I have, you can resell it and actually MAKE money on the deal if you resell it new at my retail price. AGAIN, ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS OR TRIALS ON ANY MOUTHPIECES BOUGHT FROM ME WHEN I HAVE A “SALE OFFERING” WHERE I OFFER THE MOUTHPIECE AT LOWER THAN MY NORMAL PRICING.
Adhere by my policies. Thank you. I will not accept returns on the mouthpiece if the return box is postmarked outside of those 5 days. If you send me the box anyway, you will be responsible to send me the shipping money to send you the box the box right back to you. It here by my Again, If you decide to keep the mouthpiece, there is NO trial fee at all.
