2023 TRIAL + RETURN POLICY:
My 7-day trial and return policy is for all of my black German bar stock hard rubber 10MFAN mouthpieces purchased in the United States directly from ME through my website at the regular retail price. ($450 for soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone).
When does my 7 day trial and return policy NOT apply???:
THERE ARE NO TRIALS OR RETURNS WHEN I OFFER A SALE: If I ever offer a sale where I offer my mouthpieces for LESS than $450 each, then there are no trials or returns.
BUYERS WHO USE A U.S. ADDRESS FOR SHIPPING, BUT DONT LIVE IN THE U.S.: Buyers outside the U.S. who use a U.S. address to have their mouthpieces shipped to are not eligible for trials or returns. I have dealers outside the United States, and I encourage my buyers outside the U.S. to go through those dealers, and abide by their own company policies. I do however ship directly overseas every week when purchases are made directly through me, but without trials or returns.
How The 7 DAY Trial/Return Policy works when there’s NOT a sale going on: Order and pay for a mouthpiece through my website at the regular $450 price. Enjoy play testing it, and you MUST use a tooth patch on the beak, and make sure not to use a ligature that will get any scratches on the mouthpiece. You have up to 7 days from the day of delivery to check it out. Have reeds and ligatures on hand to be able to put the mouthpiece through its paces with those different set-ups….because reeds are everything!!! Be ultra-careful with your ligatures not to get any scratches on the mouthpiece. YOU SCRATCH IT, YOU OWN IT.
Let me know via email within those 7 days if you intend to return it. If you return it, there is a $50 trial fee per mouthpiece, and you are you pay for all the shipping costs to and from. If you try the mouthpiece and decide to keep it, you will NOT be charged any trial fee. If you are going to return the mouthpiece, please contact me through email to let me know that. My email is: connsaxman@comcast.net
You can buy multiple mouthpieces at $450 each, and the trial fee applies to each mouthpiece. So if you get 3 mouthpieces and decide to return them, you will be returned $400 each and you pay all the shipping costs to and from. DO NOT SEND ME BACK ANY MOUTHPIECES THAT YOU HAVE DAMAGED IN ANY WAY.
***** LET ME BE SUPER CLEAR HERE ABOUT THE TIMING OF A MOUTHPIECE RETURN ****** If the mouthpiece is delivered to you on a Tuesday and you decide to return it, it MUST BE POSTMARKED no later than the next Tuesday via USPS PRIORITY MAIL, FULLY INSURED FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE, for me to accept the return. If you do not get it in the mail by that next Tuesday, I will NOT accept the return. ******* If you wake up Wednesday morning and forgot to send it back, the mouthpiece is yours. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. You have an ENTIRE WEEK to organize this for yourself.
Do not wash the mouthpiece as I will wash it and sanitize it here…thank you. Just wipe off the beak from the tooth patch please.
If the returned box is postmarked within those 7 days, you will get the price you paid for the mouthpiece minus the trial fee, original shipping, and PayPal fee.
***** IF YOU DAMAGE THE MOUTHPIECE, YOU OWN IT. These are hand finished masterpieces and I take great pride in that. I handle my business professionally, and I expect the same courtesy from you. ******
Everyone needs to adhere by my policies. Thank you.
